Hello friends....what may very well be the most important election of our lives is less than a month away. I don't know about you, but I want to look back and know I did my part to participate in one of the greatest grassroots campaigns ever conducted.
It appears that Obama has a strong lead...but we cannot let ourselves stop fighting too early. There is no telling what kind of tricks the republicans have up their
sleeves. We need a landslide victory to be safe from fraud or other unpredictable factors.
As you know, the Obama campaign has been empowered by votes and activists willing to volunteer for the campaign and reach out to swing voters. The McCain campaign has relied on smear ads and big business to fuel their campaign. His campaign is bound to get stronger in the final weeks whereas our people based campaign has a chance of getting weaker if we let our lead make us withdraw our individual efforts.
So please come out for a few hours and make some calls to swing voters in important battleground states. It will be fun and greatly rewarding to work closely with others on such an important cause.

***Make sure to bring your cell phone - and your phone charges as well if possible. If you’re able to bring your laptop it will be useful, but it is not necessary. Food and snacks will be provided!

No need to fear making calls. Talking points and adequate information will be provided for you to make the calls. Besides, all you need to do is think about your most important/ most passionate reasons for voting for Obama over McCain, and then simply share your opinion.
